I have had the amazing blessing of growing up in beautiful Incline VIllage, with my parents and 3 of my 4 sisters. Attending Incline Middle/High Schools presented the opportunity to try many hobbies, clubs, and sports. Enjoying our beautiful lake and amenities allowed for a true four-season lifestyle.

After graduating from Incline High School, I moved to Reno. I played volleyball with the Wolf Pack and earned a Bachelor’s degree at UNR with majors in secondary education and political science. After several years of work experience, both county and federal, I continued my studies, graduating with a Master’s degree in Organizational Management/Human Resources.

After working with the Washoe County School District with at-risk youth, I accepted a job to replicate a program I had been leading in Washoe County for exploited children nationwide, and relocated to Washington, DC. From the Justice Department program, I landed at the United States Senate, where I served as Senior Education and Training Administrator and Director of Human Resources for 10 years. I left the Senate to start my own business, and later decided it was time to return to Incline. In addition to running my management consulting business, I am a licensed Realtor.

I am happily married to my partner of 24 years, Marian Huish. We live by the motto “work hard, play harder,” which is simplified given the many outdoor activities we have available to us here. From golfing, boating, skiing, hiking, biking, and more, we thoroughly enjoy each of the wonders and amenities our community has to offer.
